Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me solve an issue I'm having with my emission map. I have followed all tutorials to the T, and read on others issues with their mapping. I've had no luck with mine, sadly. The glow will only show up on parts of the map: Any advice would be appreciated, as I'm at my wits end with this! \(T_T)/~~

It is difficult to say without seeing the file. My scientific guess is that size is incorrect. It all depends on the area where you mapped antlers. If they are mapped in the hat area, size should be 512x1024 or 1024x2048 for HQ 512x256 or 1024x512 for HQ. Bracelets with emission map should have 1024x2048 emission map, clothes - 1024x2048.

I tried all of the above sizes. Antlers are mapped in the hat area indeed. Please have a look if you can: Package and Blend

Sorry, I gave you a wrong information. EM for accessories mapped in the hat area should be 512x256 size or 1024x512 for HQ, and important thing that entire area should be filled with texture of the antlers. I mean that you need to precisely crop out only hat area from the map and this is going to be your emission map for antlers. I suggest using template and guide lines in photoshop, and set up proportions in crop tool settings.

Thank you! Season greetings to you too! This is a cute idea for the glowing antlers. Now it’s time to make more colors . I wonder what they will look like in red, green, blue.
