I'm dying here guys. I've been at it for hours and can't figure it out. First off, I'm on Mac, and the use of Apple's color picker in S4S plays a big role in my issue, as does the lack of a color palette feature for the Mac version of S4S. Basically, I need to figure out why my hex codes keep getting screwed up between photoshop and S4S, or even when I just click on the S4S swatch thumbnail color picker. It's getting so frustrating because as soon as a hex code gets screwed up, my multiple hair and eyebrow recolors, all using the same palette, no longer register as matching in-game.
Good place to start would be - what color profile system does S4S use? I'm thinking it might be Generic RGB, but I need to verify this. On Mac, using Apple's color picker you can actually continuously change the color profile and I think that's what is screwing everything up for me. Photoshop uses sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
Next, I need to find out if S4S interprets sRGB hex codes that are entered into the color picker as Generic RGB, or if it retains the sRGB color profile. This is just the start of my issue, but if someone can answer these questions for me I can move on to the next step/issue.
Thanks!
