By the way.... as I've said it is my first hair.... how do I fix the transparency? And what do you mean the texture doesn't have transparency?

I didn't do anything, I just imported it into sims 4 studio and then into the game and it didn't have any transparency issues, the black texture like I said doesn't have transparency, it's just a grey background colour. I used the black and white mask that was included in the blend file and made it transparent. Maybe its an issue on your end? try using my package and see if the problem persists: link

Sorry for the late feedback I was busy .. I checked in the game. Indeed the front is okay but when you turn the head, the backfaces of the hair are culling. How can I make the hair completely transparent in both sides? back and front

in object mode select your hair, "shift + d" then right-click, this will make a copy of your mesh, having the new copy selected press "s" type "0.999" and press enter. enter edit mode, select everything with "a", press "space" type "flip normals" select flip normals, select the copy and then the original mesh and merge them, the order is important so make sure you select the copy first.
your mesh still has layering issues in the back though, you will have to fix that

Yeah I have been trying to :') The blender file I send is not the "fixed" one. I also have layering issues at the front too, in some areas. Once again thank you so much for your help and patience with my lack of knowledge and skills.

...Okay here I am again. I haven't been able to post and feedback cause I was busy. I started trying to fix the hair again today. I basically started fixing the layering issues for starters and fixed the mesh a little. I know it still has some issues but I am using a tattoo scalp hair so I won't add more faces to an already high poly mesh. I did everything to fix the back faces but I've ended up with the see through at the scalp problem again. I even tried applying this to the package you send me but the issue still is there. Then I started correcting the layers of the back faces too so I've ended up doing this for every plane on my mesh. I did see a slight difference, like two or three parts seemed on the hair to have no transparency issues, but I cannot understand why the issue still is there since I did it in the right order, from top to bottom... I also don't understand what it means that the texture map has no transparency. In general It's been more than a month trying to make the hair work... I don't need them to be 100% perfect since it is for personal use. Can I send the "fixed" mesh file? I don't know what I'm doing so wrong.... I've tried everything according to my knowledge and tried to follow your guidance to the best of my ability. I am so sorry that I still haven't managed to fix it and asking for your help all the time... www.dropbox.com/s/w03uixgmloe7g2f/LOD0.blend?dl=0

i am not really sure what the problem is since I don't know what steps you did exactly, but I think you might have joined the planes in the wrong order, when merging planes the stuff that is underneath should be selected first, and the stuff on the top should be selected last, it seems that you got this in reverse

This one thankfully I did not make wrong. I started from the plane which had the largest number and joined them, and the one with the biggest number is the one at the bottom. I seriously got no idea why I can't get this right... I even reused the one mesh I send you which seemed to work fine (since I followed the same process as mentioned in the solutions). But as soon as I've added the flipped faces it got the same transparency issues as if it needed the planes to be layered again. Hence why I followed the same steps with the backfaces, from top to bottom.
