After the Island Living patch, I've seen this happen to several pieces of cc. Basically, black spots appear on parts of my sim and when you zoom out, it fills in the sim until the sim turns pitch black. And now it's happening to some cc that I've been working on. I haven't seen if there's any word on whether or not anyone has figured out a fix for it, but I figured I might as well share my files to see what the issue could be. There are three black spots that appear on my sim when I'm in-game: one on the sims' neck, one on their arm and over their boots. The first one goes away when I take off the top accessory cc and the other two go away when I take off the dress. Here are the two files: TOP ACC and DRESS The boots are also my cc (ignore the seam line, I can fix that myself). The black spots you see also appeared on basegame boots as well, so I don't think it's an issue with my cc boots. I heard somewhere that it could be a graphics issue, but the above screenshot was taken at the highest visual settings in the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I fixed it! I figured out that this glitch has to do with the cc's shadow. Of course, that's really weird because normally shadow errors can be seen in CAS and they've never been able to make your sim all black when you zoom out. Nonetheless, that's exactly what fixed this issue. So, normally, when you're making a shadow for a piece of cc, you only have to put a white box around the actual shadow part, but what fixed the issue is using the fill bucket tool to make the entire image background white as demonstrated below: And bam! all those black spots vanished. Just to make sure, I took another piece of cc that was causing the same error (image below). I did the exact same thing to it and it solved the issue as well!! I hope this helps anyone who was encountering the same issue. There was a similar error happening with white spots appearing all over sims (image below) and there's a tutorial to fix that HERE.
