Realm of Magic Familiar Orb ComputerUpdated for Discover University 16.12.19optional off the grid version
 Currently re-doing this from square one. You can track my progress on the MTS page for this and click the link to my journal As requested by theflyinghipy on my Realm of Magic Familiar Orb Light on MTS, I have edited the familiar orbs from Realm of Magic to have computer functionality At the moment your sims will just tap the desk, so it looks a bit strange. I will look at improving this if I am able (I only started modding July 2019!)

Confetti Pool Water
I based this off of the exising "pool pourri" (pool water with petals in) from Get Together, so that pack is required.
I like making pool water recolours, and I thought water with bits of confetti in would be nice

Empty Discover University Bookshelves with Slots

I've decluttered a collection of bookshelves/displays from Discover University and added a number of slots to place your own clutter.
This is not a replacer, it will add new objects
Shelves altered:
1 - The Colonial Bookworm - §600 - (slots: 72 small, 24 medium)

For me the sprinkler system/fire alarm is a must in my houses, as there are no firemen in the game and it's risky to rely on your sims to put fires out. Having one of those panels on the wall outside my house is not only ugly, but it goes against my ideas for a truly old style house. So I wanted to fix that.
I've cloned a debug bucket object and added the sprinkler functionality to it. So it can be placed around your old style house and look normal.
You must place it outside if you want it to cover your entire house (if it is placed in 1 particular room, it will only work in that 1 room) This can be used off-the-grid and does not require smoke detectors to work

I love to build old style houses (medieval, victorian, etc), and with these houses I try to use no electrical objects as they spoil the idea. The thermostat is very helpful, and means you don't need to put fireplaces absolutely everywhere to heat up your rooms. But they don't fit in an old style house.. I wanted to fix that
I've cloned a firewood shed object and added the thermostat functionality to it. So it can be placed around your old style house and look normal. This is not a replacer, it will add a new object

Swim Around in Pools
I was always disappointed that my sims could "swim around" freely in the ocean (Island Living) but when it came to pools that option wasn't available, we only had "swim laps" and I didn't really like my mermaid sims swimming around in circles/squares at the edges of the pool. I wished that we had the "swim around" interaction so they could move about freely. I had a look aorund and couldn't find that anyone had done this yet, so I added it to the pie menu myself
From testing in different pools it seems to work best in mishapen/irregular pools. They do tend to still move around the edges but not as bad as "swim laps", they take a more varied path in a pool that isn't a perfect square.
They will swim further away from the edges than it was originally set to, I've increased the constraint size from 1.5 to 2.5 (any higher doesn't work very well in smaller pools).

Harry Potter Spell and Potion Name Replacer
[Realm of Magic]
If you come accross any issues, anything I've missed, or you have a suggestion, please tell me!
I've renamed all of the potions and spells from Realm of Magic to be those from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
This is a replacer: • Glimmerstone (renamed to Portkey) • Spell names (renamed to Harry Potter spells) • Potion names (renamed to Harry Potter potions) • Spell/Potion Tome names (to match the above changes)
The .zip file contains: HP Spells.package HP Potions.package HP Potion Tomes.package HP Portkey (Glimmerstone replacer).package HP - Tomes.package
These are seperate in my download file - so if you wish to have the spells changed but not the potions, please just delete the "HP Potions.package" and "HP Potion Tomes.package". Similarly; if you don't wish for the Glimmerstone to be renamed Portkey, but want everything else, please delete the "HP Portkey (Glimmerstone replacer).package" (etc)
The spellbook will display all new names for each spell and potion. I tried to tie up the RoM spells/potions for an equivalent from Harry Potter, though some were much more difficult than others. Some spells do not exist within Harry Potter, and I've had to take another spell and add a description to make it match better, or just leave it mostly as it is.
I couldn't think of new descriptions for some so I left them as they are. Also the descriptions for the spell/potion tomes are left the same - so you know what in game effect it has. Everything else is altered.
