Okay so as it happens I had to reset my C:\\ drive a few days ago so I started off today with a clean fresh game and nothing but MCCC in my game (so I wouldn't have to wait 3 days for the babies). No matter which invisible crib mod you use you have two options: 1) Put the crib mod rig 0.5 squares higher than necessary which shifts animations but makes all CC cribs accessible. 2) Keep the crib mod rig centered at 0.0 squares which keeps EA cribs functional but makes most CC cribs inaccessible due to footprint issues (which kills the point of the mod). I tried adjusting Kiolometro's mod but nothing I did could get past the CC crib footprint issue (which isn't too much as I don't have any modding experience and barely understand Sims4Studio, I'm sure an actual modder could fix this, but I tried :'D). I did find an alternative invisible crib mod here that explains the issue in detail, lists working cribs and explains how to make the rest of them work by removing footprints in Sims4Studio. Removing the footprint basically removes the green/red placement square underneath the CC object in build mode but does not affect the crib otherwise. I tried Silverhammer's Invisible Crib Mod on Acnassy's Nursery after I removed its footprint and voila: I guess what I'll do is remove the footprint from some CC cribs I like and make those versions available for download so you can use the centered version of Kiolometro's mod or Silverhammer's mod to actually use those cribs without having to go through the removal process yourselves (if you're interested).

Alright, here's the update: Instructions: Either use Kiolometro's original crib mod (works with all cribs but the interaction animations are shifted) OR my tweaked version of Kiolometro's crib mod (I've centered the rig so the animations play correctly) with cribs that don't have a footprint. Silverhammersims' mod falls into the second category. It's wonderful and the animations play correctly, but most CC cribs won't be accessible without removing the footprint of said crib first. Here's a link to my SimFileShare where I've uploaded all the CC cribs I use with the footprint removed. Those are not my cribs, all cribs and credits and hard work goes to the creators that I will link below. All I did was remove the footprint. Thanks for bearing with me throughout this thread and I hope one day there will come a time where EA will stop breaking cribs so we won't need those workarounds. You guys are a life saver! I have been looking everywhere for an alternate No Crib mod and all I've been able to find were the two different sites hosting Kilometro's mod. I don't know how the two of you found this other version of the mod, but I am so excited! And with @nightlock fixing Kilometro's mod we now have two options depending on our preference. Now the trick is to figure out how to overcome the pesky walk-through issue that has cropped up(They now walk through crib and baby. Can't remember if that was an issue before). I'm guessing that the reason for that is that the removal of the footprint is probably a less than delicate solution for a delicate problem. Or that crib mod needs to stop that somehow and didn't because the deco cribs had footprints. I;m guessing neither have a footprint and one needs to, but a special one. Or it simply can't be done? As we wait for some hero to swoop in and look at that pesky walk-through issue, this fix will do wonders!
P.S. I found that at least one crib did not actually need the Object Polygons wiped(the Owl Crib from ATS4). I experimented and BELIEVE that's because the Flags section is all unchecked and set to zero so I altered another crib to match and it worked as well. Now I have no idea what I'm doing so it could be that even that is more than needs done, but it is an alternate to completely wiping the Object Polygons.

Lol kindredsouls idk what anything is in Sims4Studio so your guess is as good as mine I haven't played TS4 in a while so technically I can't comment on anything r n but I agree that the walk-through issue would have to do with the footprint. Idk what flags are but I'll check it out! Thank you for the tip <333 I found Silverhammersims through CC tumblr blogs I believe but by pure chance! I'm glad I did cause I hate when hidden cribs disappear into nothingness and I might have 5 cribs on the lot and not see a single one of them lol so I personally prefer Silver's visible version tbh. Silver also has a list of cribs that work without needing any editing and the Owl Crib is one of them! We should check what they have in common in terms of flags and footprint data :3

New mod out. modthesims.info/d/637247/no-more-bassinet-baby-sim-in-transparent-bassinet-with-optional-bear-visual-anchor-3-colors-functional-with-cc-cribs-vampire-amp-rom-supported.htmSooo I've been playing with PandaC's mod for a few months now. It works well. Having the teddy bear anchor helps with placement and provides a visual marker where the baby will go in the crib. I've used it with cc cribs that have no footprints (mainly novvvas' safari crib-- ts4novvvas.blogspot.com/2020/04/safari-toddler-bedroom.html and ATS4 owl crib-- sims4.aroundthesims3.com/objects/room_kids_07.shtml ) I am able to use click+ALT with moveobjects on to adjust horizontal placement. I've never tried using the 9/0 buttons for vertical manipulation though. My **ONLY** issue with PandaC's mod is the godforsaken footprint of the teddy bear anchor. It is two whole squares! So my sims require ample space in front of the crib in order to "reach" the baby. Furthermore, the anchor has to be placed at the very bottom edge of the crib so that the baby is situated in the middle of the crib. I've grown frustrated with decorating baby rooms, since finding additional cribs in styles that I like with no footprint is a chore. I read this thread and I am happy that there are options in S4S to possibly remove footprints on cribs I like. BTW: with novvvas's crib and PandaC's mod, you can actually cram two babies in one crib. Perfect for twins, apartments with limited space, and sims with limited funds since novvvas makes budget-friendly creations ($1)! LOL Is there a way to reduce the footprint of PandaC's mod to one square in S4S without compromising the animations? Do the other invisible crib mods have 1 square footprints?
