I'm happy we're finally getting this and the trailer looks cute, but will maintain my expectations in check so I'm not disappointed in case it comes out not as good as it looks.

props to them! honestly looks really good!! not sure about the rain effect but the trailer looks well put. hope they kept the main features that we've always had.. and not like they did with business or apartments.

I get confused with all these names. Stuff pack, Game pack, expansion pack... It used to be only one expansion pack and it covered all we needed. This splitting is just annoying and unnecessary to me. Although I mostly use my time creating things rather than playing Sims 3 was real fun to me, I had so much fun that it inspired me to start creating. Sims 4 is a different story, I got the game, a few expansion and it bored me to dead. It still does, I cannot play more than an hour without losing interest. I have fun creating for it, but only because I enjoy the creating process (which I could do for any other game really). The game doesn't inspire a bit to keep creating content to it... Time passes on and they keep bringing this empty packs that bring nothing new or refreshing. The only thing I appreciate for Sims 4 is the aesthetics, they really put some work on it, but it gets all forgotten with the crappy gameplay. You have a great scenery with for taking pictures and that's it. The worlds are 70% decorative stuff, that look amazing but you cannot do anything with it. Anyways, sorry to rant about it :P I feel the same as you. It's just a rip off from them. As far as am concerned, all that different names given to the game packs are just as confusing as hell. Ea is just a crime syndicate messing with the minds of its customers and I feel we the customers are letting them get away with it. And I feel we the players do not have a single voice because if we did, then we would have influenced what they give us. But anyway shut happens

Hi, I have to confess that, being deeply addicted to building and decorating, I don't exactly play with simmies, but I looked forward to getting my hands on "Seasons" because I can't wait to see snow-covered houses. Besides I am a winter lover in real life, and of course in Simland as well... And in sims houses..!

Some news: There will not be hail in the effects added to seasons. The snow is almost a painted white texture in the ground and won't have levels.

Mathcope I saw that on Simsvip in that twitter feed article... also the windows don't get tinted in winter... that's sad, I really liked that. made homes more cozy. T_T

Thank you for all the info. Don't know what it will look like, but I found snow in Sims 3 too heavy and somewhat unnatural, especially the ice hanging from the roofing...

We'll see how they did when it's done, but I will miss the hail in the list of effects. We don't have snow where I live so I've never experienced it to know if it's realistic or not , however I did find the hail really funny in TS3. Anyways, if the expansion adds lot of new gameplay so we can expand what we can do (very much needed I think) it will be still a good expansion.

It does indeed only look like a white layer on the floor... meh.
This is quite a let down. But I guess we should wait for the release to make our opinions.
