Hello, I've seen a lot of threads about S4S running extremely slowly, but none of them have responses.
Currently running most recent version on Mac OS (also most recent version), and it can take 30+ seconds for S4S to acknowledge a single mouse click. I'm trying to flag CAS items for use in hot/cold weather, but it's practically unusable.
Is there any fix for this?

Same for me. I really miss using S4S. It was such a necessary organizing tool for my CC. And I also used it to remove original hair meshes. To all that have been experiencing extreme slowness in the Candy Apple version of S4S:
Today's update, 1.2.1.5, reverts the 3D preview to the one used prior to Candy Apple. I believe that the 3D preview added in Candy Apple is the cause of the slowness. We initially switched due to issues with High Sierra OS, but have since resolved those issues and updated that model viewer to work with the new object feature added in Candy Apple. Please post back if this fixes your issues, or if you were using Candy Apple just fine and the new version is causing new problems for you.

Hi, I've been experiencing long loading times upwards of 2-4 minutes to save/create an object recolour file. I have updated to the latest release but am still having the same problem. CAS items, on the other hand, load reasonably quickly. To be specific, when clicking the stand alone recolour option, select object, click next, give file name, then..... 2-4 minutes before the object window opens up. Is this a known issue or do you have any suggestions to help me speed things up? Many thanks (edit: spelling)

Hi!
I have a little problem with Candy Apple (which was already happening in previous versions and still occurring with the latest version 1.2.1.6). When I re-texture hair I can't get the genetic color tags to "stick". Whenever I type in the correct hex code for each hair color as soon as I go back it changes to a different hex code for a very similar shade. If I type 111111 for black it becomes OEOEOE, dark brown becomes 39241D instead of 3A251D, and so on. The swatches I saved as samples on the Colors inspector are the are the correct hex code, but they keep reverting to the incorrect ones. Can it me the color setting on my computer? MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) Processor 1,6 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB Display profile: Colour LCD Thanks!

My only issue running S4S is not being able to easily look at all of my CC at one time. Is there any possibility for the "My CC" option to be added to Candy Apple? I could really use that function, but Macs are always left in the dust when it comes to these kinds of things... And no, I don't want a PC. I just want equal rights for my Mac :D

dbauer can you try the latest version and see if this is still a problem for you? alexpilgrim there are so many ways to enter the colors in the Mac version. Could you give the exact steps that you are taking to set them to the specific hex colors, and where you see that they change? kingnivan1 can you try the latest version and see if this is still a problem for you? mollymccall all features from the Windows version will be added to the Mac version. Right now we are adding the build items, but the next thing will probably be the My CC.

Me and another creator have been having the same problem with objects in Apple Blossom. When I try and export any of the LODs (including the shadow meshes) it exports the non-shadow LOD0 mesh instead. Additionally, when importing meshes into LOD1 and LOD2 it doesn't update the preview properly. I was using Blender 2.70 and she was using 2.78. There are more details about the issue (including the file I was working on) in this thread: sims4studio.com/post/122795/threadI actually had a whole host of problems with the object I'm working on, such as the fact it slows down the game despite being low poly and the shadow won't import properly. I expect this is more to do with my mesh than Apple Blossom but I'm mentioning it here in case anyone else is having similar issues.

Hi andrew , I created swatches in the RGB sliders panel for each hair color with the correct hex number for each genetic tag, I also tried introducing the hex number manually each time.
When I save my package and open it again they has reverted to a different hex number, always the same one (black 11111 reverts to 101010, dark brown 3A251D reverts to 39241D, and so on, if you need me to I can post the full list). If I go to warehouse Age Gender / Swatch Colors I can see a swatch, with a different hex code which is also always the same but another one (black [Color: #FF0E0E0E], dark brown [Color: #FF4C3626] and so on). I don't see that I can edit the number here, if I click add I get a new line [Color: #FF000000] that I can't edit either.
When I test the hair in CAS all colors switchs to black when I change to another hair, instead of to the same hair color.
I clicked everywhere so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...

(I just checked the settings of the RGB sliders panel: show color value 8-bit (0-255) / Generic RGB. I tried changing those settings but it didn't seem to do anything.)
EDIT: Solved! I had to manually do it in warehouse: go to Age Gender / Swatch Colors, clear the swatch, add a new swatch, enter the RGB slider values without entering the final hex code, save.
