Hello! I love this mod, it made my game so much more fun and I love my pets so much more now. However, since downloading this mod, my pet's moods don't really change. For a the past several Sim days, my dog has had either an Uncomfortable or Flirty mood, while the cat has been Anxious. Is this a known issue? I love this mod and I really don't want to have to get rid of it, however, it is sad to see my pets constantly upset.  |

krissy it could be that one of the needs bars is hidden. cats and dogs have 7 needs bars while the screen only fits 6. my dog was anxious while all the visible bars were full. little did i know bowel was separate from bladder and hidden by the bathe bar. bathe and bowel seems to be the only bars that get hidden and swap between each other on occasion. make sure the hidden need is taken care of as well.
Could also be that they need a vet visit. Make sure one of your sims asks What's Wrong to find out for sure.

Thank you for sharing this information xavierpunkreno . Since the pets are so new, I don't know everything about how they work. As people discover things, I hope they'll feel welcome to post about it here, especially if it affects how the interface works with the mod in.  |

You got it orangemittens! Has anyone else reported the issue of when you control a dog and click on the floor to use the 'sleep here' command it doesn't do anything and just resets the dog when they reach that spot?

Ever since I downloaded the mod, when I place a household ( with pet or not, it doesn't matter ), it is stuck on the loading plumbob screen. It's been a whole hour and nothing has loaded.

It's clearly not this mod seeing how it works for everyone else. Go through your other mods and see what's conflicting with it.

I have a Sim with an adult dog and played the family that way for about a Sim week. I then decided to go back into CAS and add another adult dog. After I did, both dogs lost the "Bowel" need and had it replaced by Hygiene. Hygiene doesn't decay very much at all and it doesn't seem to indicate anything. I have to guess now when my dogs need to relieve their bowels. It's not a big deal, just more of an annoyance. Has any one else noticed this?

The issue is that dogs have 7 needs bars but sims have 6 so Sims 4 will only display 6. One bar will always be hidden and it seems to be at random which bar it is. It's annoying yes but your mod or game isn't busted. That's how things are right now until someone finds a way to display all 7 need bars for the animals. I just wind up doing both number 1 and 2 when their bladder bar is low for now. |

chloerock900, I suspect there is something else in your Mods folder that is causing the issue, similar to what xavierpunkreno said a couple posts above. xavierpunkreno, I have not seen that report before, but I have had the dog reset a couple of times under other circumstances. We're still exploring what the mod can do already, and what might be amenable to fixing. |

So this is my first mod and I have the same problem as wolfypoh. I downloaded it, put it in the mods folder as told, made sure everything is enabled (I clicked on the setting on the homescreen right when I started the sims 4 and enabled them there, if I missed something please tell me) and it just wont show up. I googled a bit and watched videos and only found information for a .package or .pyo/py mod.
So what do I do wrong? I tried finding a solution and making it work for three days now and I am quite disappointed by now...

Hi tesaleena, when you put the mod into your mods folder, make sure it is not inside another folder (some people have reported that the mod won't work for them if it is in a subfolder). Also, make sure you have script mods enabled (there are two check boxes):  After doing that check the in-game list of content to be sure the game "sees" that the mod is installed. Also, what version of the game do you have? You can check that in your Documents/Sims 4/GameVersion.txt |

Um so i put the control pets mod into my game but like it doesn't work and i get this warning when i first get into the sims that says there is a mod in your folder that will cause your game to not be stable idk but can you fix it please.

I did. The mod is not in a subfolder and I have everything enabled. Still, it is not working.

Hi kotaspiritwolf, when I open my game, unless I turn it off, I get the popup shown below that warns me about using mods. It does not say anything about the game not being stable as a result of the enabled pets mod. Do you have other mods in your game? Hi tesaleena, can you look to see if the mod is showing up on the list of mods in your game (the list in the popup like the one I posted below). Also, what version of the game do you have?  |
