did you have any issues downloading the patch or did it seem normal at the time? did u have content in the folder when you updated? i know these humdrum questions but it just might help pinpoint how you get this error to prevent it for others and yourself next time. It was super slow and When i patched (whenever i patch) My folder is untouched, mods and all, i've never had an issue with leaving mods and such in there until now. I'm gonna try Crin's factory re-set thing ( sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling/ ) and see if that helps UPDATE Not even doing Crin's method worked, and the Male sims with FEMININE Frames have a heavily distorted back of the neck now.

its generally recommended all mods and cc be removed from the mod folder when updating. I can't say this was caused by that, in fact i doubt it but its not impossible , but future reference its always best to remove the ENTIRE mod folder, just cut and paste the mod folder to your desk top, its often when I make a back up copy of it as well. When you remove the entire mod folder the game will generate a new and empty folder for you . I have not used the factory reset on that page but i have used the page for other issues and its been extremely helpfu before so its worth a try. ive tried finding anyone with this glitch and im not finding much outside of old complaints of the neck issues with male sims with fem frames, since its not that issue nor cc or mods and repairing isnt working , resetting or reinstalling would be the only option but I am still flabbergasted at the cause.

Yeah, I removed the whole Sims 4 folder, started up the game, clicked play and it took me to CAS, instead of world maps I tested and sure enough the glitch is till there, and the FEMININE framed male sims just got even more gooky. I think at this point that The game must have not patched correctly. (Sorry updated display name and stuff)

im sorry about this glitch. although just a few minutes ago i created a new game and it took me to cas as well so im wondering if that is an issue for me too , i already had a saved game but any new game should have brought me to hood instead of cas, so its sorta weird.

ok apparently loading the new world into the hood instead of cas wasnt mentioned in patch notes and other people have reportedly stated their new games still load to cas, its possible that feature was not added yet or at all.

Weird.
I'm just really hoping tomorrow's reinstall fixes things bc if not I don't want to wait another month for a fix. ://

ill keep my eyes and ears open for any neck issues but far as i can tell it might have been because the mods folder was left inside while updated, its the only thing "different" you did that is often warned against, i never thought it would cause such a major issue though since the mods are usually disabled when you go back to the game but the warning must be there for a reason, ive always used it as time to make a back up copy of everything so its never bothered me to move it before updating but if you auto update it can be easy to forget about it :/

JP fish stand is not working correctly. the menu shows up and you can walk to it but when its supposed to bring up the menu of fish to purchase it just sits there till it eventually crashes. testing the flower stand next but i expect the same since it uses the grocery mod, i am fairly sure the grocery mod wont work either if the fish one doesnt. this confirmed worked less than a week ago i used it so it has to be cause of the patch.
edit to add the original grocery mod jps fish stand and flower mod are all not working, the interaction is there but it will crash the game.

yea i havent had problems for a good long while so all of this is sorta par for the course just rather annoyed because i JUST literally built a new fantastic house and prolly most of it is going to be broken until the furniture issues get fixed and these mods get replaced. All these mods and items im posting are ones i use consistently they are so important to my game play. I am still going through stuff, im loading shoes, hairs to test those. clothes seemed to be fine for me as well skin details, make up , teeth, eyes ect. I havent noticed many issues with cas at all save for the 3D lashes. But i know a lot has been reported broken with cc objects, beds and counters, mostly surfaces and comfort items by the looks of it, im just praying thoroughly for a batch fix in studio the way toddlers had batch fixes for the mirrors, bookcases ect.

Practically I have problems with cas, sims can't be modified, Furthermore, with all my mods when I loaded some family it comes an error and so the same for all my families. This is so frustrating! In conclusion I can't play the game :( :-[
