hi a long shot i know , but is there a program or something simular to when the sims 3 where you can see what is what for custom content and be able to delete it , .. i think i have way too many now and want a clear out but i dont want to delete the wrong one , as there are some that i cant get anymore and im not sure of what packages they are , i have thousands of downloads and just wondered if there is a way around this please thanks in advance is this the right place fro this ? sorry if its not let me know and i can delete That option is already on Sims4Studio!  To see what is what and delete the unwanted CC in a quick way, you can just click "My CC" on Sims4Studio and you will see here all the CC. You will see a "Delete package" or "Delete file" button (I can't remember- maybe it's just "delete"), with that you can quickly delete the unwanted .packages really quick. Other options is check them individually and delete the package manually, but that's slower and if you have too many it can be confusing too. |

im not sure where to ask this , so sorry if its in the wrong spot , ok so the nicest person Flertzia said i can use studio to find content so i can delete unwanted mods , thats fab thankyou , but now i am new to this as not done it before on the sims4 sims 3 was a bit easier i think lol or thats just me being exreeemly thick ( haha possible ) bear with me ,,,,... so i cant find the lots on the studio thing , in my files there is fore example 0x00000000!0x06420432743300fc.blueprint 0x00000001!0x00c1043e8e9e00de.trayitem 0x00000001!0x00c1043e8e9e00de.trayitem
i have not a clue what it looks like etc and i dont want to delete one that i want to keep ....
also how do i save my files that i have made myself in the sims4 when ive spent hours building a lot and i dont want to loose it , how do i do this , also with sims too ,,
im so sorry to be a pain in the b**m but my game crashed the other day and my pc died and ive lost everything .... the only files i was able to save are the ones that i published which is not alot but its something so im wanting to go through everything and back up what i want to keep incase of pc failure in the future

would it be possible to have something on the program to help with my lots and family's as im really struggling to clear them up and i dont want to delete the wrong files , why are the family or households in the the same folder as the lots , making my head spin im so confused lol , tray items for dummies please lol

Hi, I have A LOT of custom content and a few hair styles and clothes have recently became invisible. The trouble is I don't know which it is and I don't want to go through the painstaking process of going through each item one of a time. If I could load up say my clothing folder and see each item so I could just click on one and delete, I would be ecstatic.

emmamerrills, fireidarThere is a program which would work really well with Sims4studio - it is called Sims 4 Tray importer. You create a sim or house with whatever you don't like - (It DOES not work with build/buy content which cannot be placed (take pics of it while in-game to research with sims 4 studio) - SAVE to your library (you can then bulldoze the lot in-game AFTER you have saved to your library). Exit your game and run Sims 4 Tray importer. You will then be able to see what cc is attached to a particular sim (even if it has no mesh - it will tell you what it is) so you can either delete or find the mesh. You can also use to cull lots and households. luniversims.com/files/file/73-sims-4-tray-importer/used in conjunction with Sims 4 studio, these tools are invaluable.

I would love for "my CC" feature to include CAS thumbnails, because sometimes I can only tell similar stuff apart by their icon. And a far-fetched wish, the ability to batch export those thumbnails under the name of the package, so I could drop them in the folder with the CC for quick reference.

Thank you for the hard work on S4S! I would like to request the ability to filter content in Batch Fixes and My CC by Parts - selecting "Hats" before disallowing CAS for random so only hats are disabled, for example.

honestly all I want is the My CC feature for S4S on Mac 😩 it looks like such an amazing feature to sort through your CC quickly! Fingers crossed it comes to the Mac version of S4S soooon (if somehow it's already there and I can't find it pls let me know!!)

I really need a way to quickly tell which files are dependent on which other files (meshes). So that I stop deleting things I need and can actually do a big clean out.

So here is my wish list: 1. To be able to search for items with certain tags - for example the different "uniform"-tags. Both cloned game stuff (to get rid of them) and on cc - because they can be found both here and there, and suddenly your nanny/astronaut wears odd stuff! 2. To add more tags "on all swatches" - some of the tags in the tag ui are not so useful but there are others (wedding, black and white-party, butler, maid, ect) which would really come in handy. Making hiders for everything now, may come back to add more wishes |

i'm not sure if this is possible, but i find that sometimes, the "black" recolor of a piece of CC is way too light to be usable. is it possible to make a batch fix that detects "too light" recolors and fixes them to a better black?

Now with the November update and going through all my CC, I really wished there was something like CC Magic (that was made by Granthes for the Sims 3)
The beauty of it was that you could make several configurations like Medieval or other historic settings, or CC you use only for a certain storyline. You could tag your custom content in that specific way. If such a thing would be possible for the Sims 4, I would really grateful. One thing that the Origin took care for was a 'zero configuration' (no CC at all).
