Introduction
The EA dishwasher will not work with custom content counters made prior to the patch introducing the new dishwasher. This batch fix will make all your custom content counters work with the new dishwasher. It will also create a backup of every custom counter .package it fixes so if you want the non-working ones back for some reason you have a copy of them saved. What you will needSims 4 Studio v 2.5.1.6 (Joy) Instructions
Open Studio and click the Ctrl, the Shift, and the c key on your keyboard to bring up the Cheat Console. Type in, or copy and paste, dishwashersforall, into the Cheat Console. Click Ok. The next pop up box will allow you to choose the folder you want the batch fix to work on and the place where you want your back up created. If you leave the default settings as they are Studio will batch fix all .packages that are in your Sims 4/Mods folder (the folder you put content into so it shows up in the game). It will also create a back up folder in your Sims 4 Studio/Batch Fix folder. Most people leave those settings as is but you can create a separate folder for just the items you want fixed if you want to. If you do that then use the browse feature to browse to the folder you created for that purpose. Let the program run and you're done.

I tried the batch fix by putting all my CC counters in a folder inside the Mods folder and directed the batch fix to that folder as the destination. I still can't use the dishwashers on CC or even newly, recolored EA counters. I deleted caches in the game folder and can't think of anything else to try so I came here. Might do a voodoo dance next.
Oh yeah, in game after using the program to fix the counters I replaced all those counters in the game, the ones used on lots with the new, fixed ones, it's still not working. Help! :D

Hi blewis823. Thank you for posting. I've posted in the bug thread about this issue and I should have also posted here. We've taken v 2.5.1.5 down while we work on the counter batch fixer. You are not alone in having it not work correctly and it has issues that need to be fixed. It should be ready to go shortly and will be released in a new version of Studio (v 2.5.1.6) in order to avoid confusion. Because it did some things incorrectly it would be best to open your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Batch Fix folder and look in the date column. Open the folder that has the date you ran the counter batch fix. Copy all the items from both folders inside that folder back into your Sims 4/Mod folder. This will return your Mods folder to its exact pre counter batch-fix state in readiness for the new batch fixer which will work. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Those who have not yet run the 2.5.1.5 batch fixer for counters should not do so. Please wait until the 2.5.1.6 version is ready to go.

You're welcome. The batch fix for counters should be working now with v. 2.5.1.6. I appreciate everyone's patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

(Apologies, wasn't sure what section to put this in. None seem appropriate)
I've never run a batchfix before or anything. Do I have to move any .package files anywhere? Or does doing the dishwasher cheat fix everything (Maxis and my mods?)

You can leave your custom content .packages in your Sims 4/Mods folder. You do not need to move them. This is the folder that Studio will choose to batch fix by default. I have updated the tutorial to make it more clear.

Hi yomameme, welcome to Studio forums. You will need to patch your game and get the new dishwasher from EA before this batch feature will work for you. Once you have patched your game then run the batch fix on your Mods folder.

When I type in dishwashersforall, it tells me that it is an invalid cheat code. Help?

Hi lpacker79, welcome to Studio forums. You need the current version of Studio (Joy) for that cheat code to work.

This batch fix is to allow custom content counters to accept a dishwasher. It has nothing to do with anything else. It will not work to fix any CC that isn't a counter that won't accept a dishwasher.

Hiya! I hope I am posting this in the proper section but I was just wondering if there will be a batch fix with Sims 4 studio for the parenthood pack so our sims can set the CC tables too? Thanks! Have a fabulous day!
