I believe I'm having a similar problem. I change the outfit type--for example a bathing suit top to just swimwear, apply to all swatches, and save yet the bathing suit top is still showing in the game as everyday wear. This is happening quite frequently. I don't know what I could possibly do that I'm not doing. Can someone help?

Is here a way that you can do these settings on to multiple items at once?

Is there a way to correct swatches? We've found that a lot of CC has swatches which in no way match the colors of the item, especially hair.

I have found that in my game I have clothes that are formal clothes for example showing up in the wrong category. Would this help me in getting them in their correct one?

Hi I was wondering if someone could help , I’ve done “allow for random” on most of my cc hairs , and I’ve gone into my game and no npcs have got cc hair on or clothes and some npcs are naked and/or bold, have I done something wrong?

Ah category was the wrong term, sorry. Its the Outfit type thats frustrating us a bit. This hoodie is from Gorilla for example. Its in the sleep tab, so we went to studio to fix that, like described above. Another example, we have scarf, its in everyday and cold weather, so we unchecked everyday, applied that to all swatches but its still in the everyday tab. Even if we delete the tag in warehouse of the cas part. Its like it reverts it or like its write protected or something. Hope any of this makes sense I have the same issue. I modified a piece of clothing to remove "Everyday" as it's a sleepwear. Applied to all swatches, saved. In the game, it is still showing up on "Everyday". I even tried reopening it on S4S and the flags there are correct, on all swatches. The game isn't respecting those flags. I even tried removing it from the game, ensure it's not a cache issue. When I put the CC back, it still comes up as everyday. I've uploaded the package file if you need more infoEDIT: I've realised what's wrong. S4S did the right thing and the package is correctly tagged. CAS does NOT apply the "Everyday" filter on the Everyday category - hence it's showing ALL female clothes. If you manually apply the filter, it works perfectly. This is " by design" from EA

Funny question. Is there a way I can do this on multiple CC? Just to change subcategory in skin details. I have soooo many CC that doing it one by one will take me forever...

Ok I have followed your instructions here and everything worked great, I deleted a bunch of CC I didnt like, saved it, and it was not showing up in game. Then I downloaded more cc and realized it was not showing up in my game (this happens a lot for some reason) so I used ts4 mod manager and activated all of the mods (which it said only 3100 of 3198 were activated for some reason)and it brought back ALL the CC in game including all the CC I was missing and that I just deleted with sims 4 studio..... so I have 2 questions is there a way to see which CC is not activated in game with sims 4 studio? and why does the mod manager bring back the stuff I deleted with s4 studio?? Do I need to find and delete it somewhere else too?
Thank you so much

I tried to add a reply to the Sims 4 Studio error forum but there is no reply area on the thread. Do I need special access? Or just have my post moved? I have Sims 4 Studio 3.1.6.2. It works fine, I have everything legal and updated, and have used the program with no troubles. It's a fantastic program, thank you very much for it. I just want to report that Batch fixing for Occult Spellcasters does not seem to be working. I batch everything to allow Spellcasters to wear/use it, but when I check the CC afterward, the new Occult type above the outfit type does not check the spellcasters box. The old "Witch" tag in the outfit type doesn't seem to be applied either. It's not a big deal for me since I have an unlocker for all occult types to use and wear everything, but I couldn't see anyone else reporting this. Also, with the new Trendi save error, there should probably be a batch fix to remove fashion rarity tags from CC. simscommunity.info/2022/08/11/error-532-in-the-sims-4-causes-and-solutions/Thank you for your time.

I tried to change the category of a piece of CC (socks, from accessories to any category of CC that I never use) by following the instructions given in the first post, but they didn't work. I followed the instructions step-by-step, to the letter, but, when I played the game, the altered CC remained as accessories instead of whatever other category I had put them in.
Have the instructions changed? Or is there something I'm missing.

If you manually apply the filter, it works perfectly. This is " by design" from EA I know it's old but thank you so much for adding your edit to this comment - I was going mad trying to figure out why items I'd edited in S4S were showing in Everyday when I'd changed them to NOT be Everyday items! Now I know that when you're viewing Everyday clothing in CAS you have to add an 'Everyday' filter to remove all the non-everyday items, all my changes in S4S now actually work! What a dumb idea from EA; it makes no sense when you don't have to manually add the other filters to view just Formal or Swimwear or Sleepwear and makes more work for us!
