Thanks, orangemittens. I also misread it and thought I had to look for the "collections" options, but I managed to follow the rest of the instructions and it worked! I'm still trying to figure out how to change the swatch thumbnails, though. It keeps showing the original yellow wall I used even when I imported the thumbnail photos on s4s.

Maybe you have to delete your "localthumbcache.package" which you can find here: C:\User\Documents\Electronic Arts\De Sims 4 Nice mural by the way

Thanks, bakie I'm hoping to share the walls sometime soon! As for the thumbnails, I'll try your suggestion and see if I can get it to work.

katsuai, the mural looks great! If the thumbnails continue to give you trouble post the .package and someone can take a look

I'm glad you think so, orangemittens. I had these for TS2 and they were one of my favorites. Deleting the "localthumbcache.package" didn't do anything and the swatch thumbnails are still the same yellow that the cloned wall originally came with. I've attached the .package if anyone wants to have a look and see what I'm doing wrong. bookcase wallpaper

katsuaiYou'll need a custom thumbnail for that, but that isn't supported in TS4S at the moment as far as I see for wallpapers. It is avaible for floortiles. Maybe something that can be added in a next patch orangemittens ? The changed Thumbnail can be seen when hovering over the color swatches. But I understand you want them too as custom thumbnail instead of just the color boxes.

Thanks for the help, bakie and orangemittens. Would love to have custom thumbnails but what I have now is fine

Which thumbnail is it that's wanted? Studio makes custom catalog thumbnails for walls.

I was trying to get the custom thumbnail for the different swatch options to work, but no luck. The catalog thumbnail works fine, though.ETA 5/22: I was looking for a TS2 book wallpaper I used to have and instead came across a TS4 blog that made the same wallpapers I was attempting from the above post. :oops How did I not know these existed before? *headdesk*Waterwoman's Rainbow Books

Hi! why do we save it in the format of the texture DXT5 (Interpolated Alpha), why not DXT1 (no alpha)?
As I understand it, it's better to take the ratio obtained by dividing 1 by the number of tiles. For example, a 1: 4 = 0.25; 1: 5 = 0.2; 1: 8 = 0.125 (final decimal)
And if I want to make wallpapers on 6 or 7 cells. Can I then take the number to a string UVSсale 1: 6 = 0.1666666 or 1: 7 = 0.142857. There will be no error or malfunction of this package? Thank's)

I did all the steps but my mural wall doesnt appear in the sims 4 studio program. I have a newer version than the one you used in the tutorial so i want to be sure i did everyhing right.
After i uploaded the image, i opened warehouse. Selected the first material defintion, clicked 'edit items' on the right side of 'items'. There i select 'diffuseUVscale' en changed the value on the side of 0 into 0.25. I checked it when i applied and its written 0.25. I did the same for the other 2 material definition. I saved them all seperately. And gone back to studio tab, but nothing changes in the wallpaper..
How?

So if you start your game and then place the wallpaper, you will see that it will be streched over more then one wall.

I'm using the newest version and I can't change the number to 0.25 because it automatically goes back to 0

Hi all, I know this Thread is old, but I have the same Problem like fursims a few posts before: After i uploaded the image, i opened warehouse. But ingame they look exactly like in Sims4Studio. Totally messy. I follow exactly Bakies Video Tutorial, but his S4S is 3 years old and look totally different as mine ( the newest ) Is it possible to show the Warehouse Part of the Tutorial in the newest Studio Version? Its the first time I tried to make Murals, and I would love to get it

I had the same problem coming up and Orange told me why: I work on a European System. It calculates in a different way. So, I replaced the . with a , it worked.
